Onboarding kit

Which materials a municipality receives after completing onboarding to inform residents.

Overview

So that residents learn that decidio is available in their municipality, decidio provides a companion kit after onboarding. It contains materials for displays, events and letters as well as the QR code that leads directly to the public submission form.

How it works

The onboarding kit is produced automatically after the onboarding is finished and made available under "Settings → Onboarding kit". It combines the municipality designation, the captured contact details and the QR code with templates that are suitable for publication.

The QR code points to the public submission form. It can be used on displays, in letters and in printed material. Print quality and format are chosen so that use on posters and in letters both work.

A data processing agreement (DPA) PDF is also part of the package. It summarises the agreement on data processing between the municipality and decidio and becomes available for download once the necessary information has been added in the settings.

Common tasks

Download the onboarding kit

  1. In the settings open the "Onboarding kit" area.
  2. Pick the desired materials.
  3. Start the download and forward the files to the responsible places.

Integrate the QR code into displays

  1. Download the QR code from the onboarding kit.
  2. Open the layout template included in the kit or place the code in your own template.
  3. Before printing, check that the code is read cleanly by a smartphone from about a metre away.

Generate the DPA PDF

In the settings under "Legal and data" complete the necessary details — for example contact persons. Then download the DPA PDF from the onboarding kit.
