Inclusive channels
How non-digital participation — by reply form or supported participation — joins the same workflow.
Overview
Participation must not exclude anyone who cannot or does not want to take part digitally. decidio therefore supports several access paths: reply forms that are answered on paper, and assisted participation through municipality staff or community helpers.
How it works
For a survey a reply form can be generated. It contains the same questions as the digital version as well as a code that allows the answers to be captured later and attributed to the correct survey.
Incoming reply forms are entered into the capture mask by staff. The capture flow is focused on entering — with hints if a form is incomplete or has arrived more than once.
In assisted participation staff or helpers capture the answers directly on site — for example at the citizen office or at events. In the "assisted participation" mode it is clearly recognisable that someone is capturing on behalf of the participant, while the participant provides the answers.
Common tasks
Fill in and hand in a reply form
- Obtain the reply form from the administration or from the municipality site.
- Answer the questions.
- Hand the form to the contact point named in the instructions.
Capture reply forms
- In the administration open the "Reply forms" area.
- Pick the capture mask for the associated survey.
- Enter the code of the reply form and capture the answers.
- Finish the capture — the answer joins the survey.
Run an assisted participation
- With the participant open the "assisted participation" mode.
- Read the note about capture on behalf together.
- Transfer the answers exactly as the participant provides them.
