Quick actions
How moderation assigns, postpones, declines and handles several requests in one go.
Overview
To keep moderation responsive even under heavy inflow, decidio provides quick actions. A quick action is a single-step intervention — for example assign, postpone or decline with reasoning.
How it works
In the inbox the quick actions are available directly in the detail panel and in the efficiency bar. Every action triggers the corresponding status change and writes it into the public status history of the request.
Multiple requests can be selected at once and processed through batch actions. That helps when several requests target the same committee or have to be declined with the same reasoning.
Every request receives a unique reference number. It is part of the public status page, appears in protocol links and makes it easier to refer to a request in internal communication and in meeting minutes.
Common tasks
Assign a request
- Select the entry in the inbox.
- Pick the "Assign" quick action.
- Choose a committee or a responsible person.
- Optionally add a short note and confirm.
Process several requests together
- Mark multiple entries in the list through multi-select.
- Pick the desired batch action from the action bar above the list.
- For declines capture the shared reasoning.
- Confirm the batch action — all status changes are written together.
Find a reference number again
The reference number is shown on the public status page and in every status notification e-mail. Inside the administration it can be used through the inbox search to open a request directly.
Link to meeting minutes
In the detail panel of a request a protocol link can be stored. This link afterwards appears on the public status page and makes the committee's decision traceable.
